He lets the room drown in it for a moment, little his own words settle in Akechi's mind. Ren knows it's not enough to turn anything around- even if Ren forgives him, it doesn't mean that Akechi forgives himself. And he's here to assure that Akechi doesn't need to pretend around him, especially when he's seen his true face.

Ren turns to Akechi seriously, and after a moment of consideration: ]
